Gas Sampling Equipment
GCH heaters efficiently preheat natural gas sample cylinders to improve the accuracy of spot samples. Heating only takes about 10 minutes and can be done in the vehicle on the way to the site.
Preheating the cylinder is required to comply with natural gas sampling standards (GPA 2166 and API 14.1). Using a heated cylinder is especially important if you use the fill & empty conditioning method.
Actual field usage has proven that using a heated cylinder for spot sampling can significantly improve accuracy and repeatability.
Cylinder Heater for 300cc
The GCH-300 provides a simple, efficient solution to 300cc sample cylinder preheating. Heating takes about 10 minutes. After heating the sample cylinder stays in the heater enclosure until the sampling process is finished - providing a safe method to handle the heated cylinder while taking the sample without the need for gloves.
Cylinder heater for 500cc
The GCH-300 provides a simple, efficient solution to 300cc sample cylinder preheating. Heating takes about 10 minutes. After heating the sample cylinder stays in the heater enclosure until the sampling process is finished - providing a safe method to handle the heated cylinder while taking the sample without the need for gloves. The GCH-300 and GCH-500 heaters both use the same controllers.
Heater Controller – 12VDC
The GCH-140 Controller is used with the GCH series sample cylinder heaters. It provides power and regulates the heaters at a constant 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Power for the controller is provided by a vehicle 12 volt cigarette lighter or standard 12 volt DC power point connection.
GCH Heater Lab Power Supply 120W
The GCH-LP-120 Gas Cylinder Heater Lab Power supply is used with the GCH series sample cylinder heaters.
In addition to providing power for the heaters, it monitors the heater""s temperature to determine the cylinders temperature and regulate the heaters to maintain the cylinder at the set temperature.
Temperature can be easily adjusted using front-panel push-button.
GCH 300cc Heater System Case
Keep your heater and cable together with this 9"x6"x4" zipper-top soft case. Works great with our 300cc heater and controller. 500cc heaters are too long.
