RS-485 to RS-232 Converter
This RS-485 to RS-232 Converter provides a simple, low cost interface between a PC or laptop with an RS-232 serial port and 2-wire RS-485 devices. Power for the converter is taken from the serial port lines - no external power supply is needed. In some cases, only transmit, receive, and ground are required. Switching between receive and transmit is automatically controlled. RTS (request to send) is not required to control transmit.

The 101-0020 RS-485 to USB Converter provides a simple, low cost interface between a PC or laptop with a USB port, and 2-wire RS-485 devices. Drivers make this converter compatible with most software developed for RS-232 serial port interfaces because it appears as an RS-232 port to your software. Switching between receive and transmit is automatically controlled so RTS (request to send) is not required to control transmit. Power for the converter is taken from the USB port so no external power supply is required.

6ft USB Extension Cable
These cables can be added to the PC side of your MicroLink HART protocol modem or RS- 485 converter to give you some extra working distance. USB specifications limit how long the extension can be so we recommend adding only one 6 feet extension.
6ft RS-232 Extension Cable
Extension cables allows for increased distance between the modem or converter and your computer. RS-232 devices can be extended up to 50 feet. Extension cables have a straight though pin-out with male to female connectors.
