Modem power is taken from the PC serial port. MicroLink is compatible with all certified HART devices and all leading HART configuration software that uses an RS-232 serial port for the interface.

If your PC or laptop does not have a 9-pin serial port you will need the USB MicroLink modem. For a HART modem with a USB interface we offer the 101-0027.
