The Industrial Ethernet Module for sercos provides customers with a complete Slave Device for integration into their own device. The following functions are supported in accordance with the sercos standard:
 

• sercos Slave Device with two active Ethernet interfaces
• "Variable Configuration Profile" with dynamic extendable parameter list via host interface
• Display of status (CP0 ... CP4) and error status

The exchange of IO data of the host application with the Industrial Ethernet Module is performed separately for input and output data via a configurable memory image in the DPRAM of the module.
