The FR-IB100/PCIe is an extremely cost effective and high-performant interface card for flexray analysis and control applications as well as for analysis of the flexray start-up behavior (asynchronous analysis mode).
The card can be used in desktop PCs at laboratory workstations as well as in industrial computer systems, e.g. at test benches, and, due to the compact design, can also be installed in low profile cases.
With the supplied drivers for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 (each 32/64 bit) customer-specific applications can be programmed using C++ or .NET. At this, example applications in C++ and C # enable an easy and fast start. In addition, IXXAT offers the multibusAnalyser, a powerful tool for analysis and stimulation of flexray devices and systems.
For users upgrading from CAN to flexray, a flexray configuration tool is included in the scope of delivery enabling an easy control of the large number of flexray communication parameters. After entering a few parameters, such as cycle time, number of messages and length, the tool automatically calculates the dependent parameters and creates a file to configure the flexray protocol chips.
Users who have a FIBEX file of the flexray network can directly configure the card by using the configuration data from the FIBEX file.
Due to the good price-performance ratio, the FR-IB100/PCIe is suitable for production use and, by the comprehensive software support, best suited for the analysis of flexray systems.
