This anybus-S module is tailor made for usage in drive applications. In addition to the standard LonWorks services, a complete ?6010? Variable speed motor Drive Profile server is included into the on-board firmware. The interface transmits up to 65 k Byte of parameter data to/from the drive. The module supports the parallel Dual Port Ram interface as well as the serial Rx/Tx Host.
The ABSDP Development Tool for Windows is used to configure the Profile Server in the module. It enables customer specific settings, vendor name, device name and parameter configuration. The tool will also generate the necessary EDS-file for fieldbus network configuration.
