CAN gateway for K-Bus and K-Line
Based on an existing product (LIN2CAN), firmware adaptation was carried out for an automobile manufacturer with which the UART-based protocols for K-Bus and K-Line can be implemented configurable to CAN. In addition to the gateway function, all protocol-specific timing parameters are freely configurable. The K-Bus-/K-Line systems can be analyzed with existing CAN measuring systems via K2CAN gateway.
FlexRay/CAN Gateway
Based on an already available solution (FlexRay/CAN gateway configuration software and FRC-EP150), IXXAT configured a FlexRay/CAN gateway for the usage in test benches of a tier-1 supplier for the automotive industry.At this, the FlexRay messages of the device under test where translated to the corresponding CAN messages of the already available test system, as specified by the customer. So the customer was able to use the already available CAN technology for its new FlexRay based control units without making any change.
IXXAT provided pre-configured FRC-EP150 devices, enabling the customer to put the new test benches into operation in time and without any problems.
The gateway configuration, created by IXXAT, was provided to the customer. This enables the customer to change the configuration by using the IXXAT FlexRay/CAN gateway configuration software in future.
